Answer: I couldn't stay on my feet long enough to enjoy ice skating.
[I hope all of you have heard the story of Mother and Aunt Atha trying to ice skate on the slough in Roberts but instead of ice skates they used one pair of roller skates and tied their middle legs together. Needless to say neither one of them stayed up very long that time either. Mother landed on top of Aunt Atha and they were laughing so hard that Mother had an accident. Aunt Atha was hollering for Mother to get off of her. I can almost hear it now only with a few more words added in than just to get off of her. Oh how I miss those two]
