Here on the Cook Family History Blog, I will be posting items on the various lines of my family tree so that my family can learn more about their heritage. I am going to start with my grandparents surnames-Cook, Buchmiller, Proctor, and Williams and branch out from there. I feel genealogy is so important and want my family to know where they came from. I hope to post some treasure hunts for them to do to find out more about their ancestors.

Mom Share Your Life with Me - February 16
Question: Tell about your first kiss.
Answer: Elmer Searle was the first boy I ever kissed. I thought it was neat.
What wonderful memories I have the last few days of mom life, as we were all there gathered around her bed taking turns 2 at a time to be right by her. I remember she woke up looked at me and said do you see Max, I told her no, then she said he is standing right beside you. Thanks Mom, I love you with all my heart. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of you and marvel at the wonderful mother that you were to all of us.
