Ruth Elizabeth Proctor Cook (1918-1999) Autobiography Part 20

This is the final video of Mother telling her life story.  It has been quite the journey for me and I hope for you.  In this final episode she tells a few more antics and then bears her testimony of the Gospel.  It is priceless.  At the end of the video, we get a glimpse of her home outside and inside.  She shows pictures of varies family members and tells who they are.  It is a fitting way to end this amazing project.  Love you, Mother.  Thanks for the memories!  You live on forever in all of the lives that you have touched.

Ruth Elizabeth Proctor Cook (1918-1999) Autobiography Part 17

Here is the next episode of Mother's autobiography. I must say this one was a very tender one for me and for her. It hurt like the dickens for me to have to tell her when she didn't want to walk the parallel bars that I didn't care. If she didn't want to walk again that was okay by me. I will have to clarify one thing though. In the video when she said she called me a brat for saying that. Well that is not quite what she said. She said, "D*** you Lois, I'll show you." And she did. I love her and miss her so very much. Some day we will meet again!

Ruth Elizabeth Proctor Cook (1918-1999) Autobiography Part 16

Here is the next installment of Mother's Life Story just as she tells it.  We all may not remember it just as she did but it is as she recalls it.  Today she tells of her hard work to try and learn to walk again so that she would be able to leave the hospital.  Bless her heart!!  She worked so hard.  She never gave up even when the doctors told her she would never walk again.  She just said, "I'll show you."  And she did.

Ruth Elizabeth Proctor Cook (1918-1999) Autobiography Part 15

Wow! I can't believe that it is Friday again and that I am actually home. In today's episode of Mother's life, she tells about her back injury and how she was paralyzed for several months and in the hospital. When she mentions Darrell taking her through the locker room at the Rigby Boy's basketball games, she should have said Rigby instead of Menan. The Rigby Trojans played their games in Rigby and not in Menan. Enjoy! Let me know what you think!!!

Ruth Elizabeth Proctor Cook (1918-1999) Autobiography Part 14

I am finally home long enough to get another segment of Mother's Life Story ready.  She finishes telling about the trip her, Dad, and Darrell took and then about Dad's death. She mentions that when she died she had a silver dollar and some other coins for us kids.  I have mine and will add pictures of my coins and the little leather holder that she kept them in.  Man, I miss her and Dad.
