Answer: We were having a dinner at Ethel and Walt Formo's house in Tooele, Utah. My brother, Jim, and his wife VaNeta were there. Ethel had made pumpkin pies for dessert. VaNeta was trying to get the whip cream out of a can and she couldn't get any out. So Ethel, who was across from her, took the can and said, "Just hit the bottom like this." When she did it shot across the table, down VaNeta's dress, on her pie and on her plate. My brother, Jim, said, "Well, honey, that's one way to get cream in you and on you." VaNeta laughed, we all did but Ethel. She felt so bad. We have all had many a good laugh over that. No one hit the can any more.
Here on the Cook Family History Blog, I will be posting items on the various lines of my family tree so that my family can learn more about their heritage. I am going to start with my grandparents surnames-Cook, Buchmiller, Proctor, and Williams and branch out from there. I feel genealogy is so important and want my family to know where they came from. I hope to post some treasure hunts for them to do to find out more about their ancestors.
