A several years ago for Mother's Day, I gave Mother, Ruth Elizabeth Proctor Cook, a booklet with a question for each day of the year. Mother was to answer the question for the day and then return the book to me the next year. I would like to share that book with each of you.
Every day this year I will post the question and then Mother's answer to that question. I have enjoyed it and hope that you will too.
On the front cover Mother put a sticky note with this written on it:
Yesterday is History
Tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift.
That's why it is called the present.
Question for January 1: What was your day and date of birth?
Answer: Saturday, 16 November 1918
